I'm so pleased with the way this is turning out. I want to finish this before the Ledford Festival next month so I can show it off. I should finish it.

I'm really excited about finishing this banjo! I'm making the nut, bridge and end piece out of ebony that I gleaned from guitar builder Ken Miller.
It is beautiful Mark, again you have made another very fine instrument and I so enjoy you sharing the process of your builds with us.
Mark will you be learning to play banjo now?
You've made another beauty, Mark! It has been neat to see the process; I always enjoy seeing your works-in-progress.
FANTASTIC. I'm excited with you to see it all done and enjoy the making. What kind of wood are you using to carve out the neck and all?? very nice lines. Surely you'll post playing this little gem. I have a much larger gourd in my living room....been thinking what to make of it. I was leaning on making a "thumb piano". aloha, irene
