I'm so pleased with the way this is turning out. I want to finish this before the Ledford Festival next month so I can show it off. I should finish it.

I'm really excited about finishing this banjo! I'm making the nut, bridge and end piece out of ebony that I gleaned from guitar builder Ken Miller.

FANTASTIC. I'm excited with you to see it all done and enjoy the making. What kind of wood are you using to carve out the neck and all?? very nice lines. Surely you'll post playing this little gem. I have a much larger gourd in my living room....been thinking what to make of it. I was leaning on making a "thumb piano". aloha, irene
