Mike, Is that octagonal banjo from Stu Jamieson? He made one exactly like it patterned after one of Aunt Liz Hill, of Martin. (I saw a photo of her playing it in Jean Ritchie's slide show at Hindman years ago.) How did you come by it? I've noticed several - a tradition? - octagonal instruments over the years.
