Thanks for putting up all the ID Stamper photos Mike There's an offcialclip from the Sourwood Mountain Dulcimers video on YouTube that shows Ike making a very similar instrument. His construction sequence would be of great interest to builder today, as was his method of making the fretboard and headstock from one piece of wood. I noticed just a slight hollowing under the fretboard:
I think this was to enable him to get the sides dead straight and a flush fit to the top of the instrument. Here is the building clip from the film:
