I'm new here. I love this. So much of what I hear is incessant strumming. I don't know anything but this is the style of playing i prefer. I may take about a year and try to flesh this out for myself.

Thanks John - I've just been listening to Skip James playing this on YouTube.  I think I may try a slightly different arrangement and work it up as a song.

Great stuff, Robin!  Skip James has long been my favourite old time country bluesman, partly because of the strange, otherworldly quality of his music.  You really catch that atmosphere.  (You Gotta Move is great too.)
