Very beautiful playing and sound, Terry! I started to play with the noter too - it is not as easy as I thought... ☺
Thank you, Ariane. Good luck playing with a noter. While it is difficult, I'll give myself, perhaps 20 years, to get proficient. I'll then be 92, but hopefully, by then I might have learned a thing or two. Mama lived til 99, so with modern medicine, I might clock out at 105.
Thank you, Black Dog Bess, and Gordon. You both are very kind.
I am having bone surgery on two fingers on my strumming hand, on Jan 4th. This is a bummer, especially with the arrival of my new dulcimer. But this was my choice. So, for at least 8 weeks, no strumming.
Hello Terry, it's great to hear the old songs and it's great to see you playing with the noter, something I have yet to perfect. You have a good sound going on there. I hope you enjoy your new instrument. Thanks for sharing and blessings of the season to you!
Thanks for sharing your musical adventures with us! You always bring enthusiasm and excitement to whatever you are doing. Can't wait to see your new dulcimer, it sounds interesting.
Awesome friend! Waterbound was the first song I learned on the dulcimer. Doing great Terry!
Thank you, Bobby. I appreciate this coming from you.

20 years? Nope! You are a natural, Terry!
Christine, Thank you very much.
Hey, talk about being a natural. Look in the mirror.

Terry, you sound like you must've been born with a noter in your hand-- nicely played! Happy holidays!
Thank you, Robin . You are kind.
I really enjoy your noter/drone playing. In fact, I enjoy all of your songs. You are an inspiration to all of us "wannabes."

Dream, dream, dream; Dream dream dream.
(Great song to live by)
Terry your noter playing is very natural and fluid... great job! It's like you've been playing noter style for a long time.
Thank you, Lisa. You make me feel good all over.

Can I get a yippee for the harmonica?

Thank you, Steve. I love the sliding sounds. I came across several really old dulcimer music books with the old songs. Love um.
Always nice to hear those drones!
You have a nice sounding dulcimer there too and seem to have taken to the noter like a duck to water
Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and yours too
