Thanks Brian, but I've got a ways to go to accomplish that "smooth" factor on the technical stuff. Just keep up the great work and keep posting videos here and there!

Thanks both. :) John K - thank you for the very kind words. I am flattered and honored that you think my little videos are somehow useful. Personally, I think you play very well yourself, and certainly don't think there is any "catch up" required at all.

John H. - This was in 1-5-8 (CGC). About the strings - I don't honestly remember. I had originally thought that the Folkcrafts I have were strung as from Folkcraft itself, but I seem to remember a discussion with Rich Carty in which he convinced me to go with heavier gauge strings and a stiffer pick (Dunlop grey .73mm). So even though I'm using a Herdim instead of the Dunlop in these videos, I think the strings may in fact be heavier than "stock". Exactly what the heck they are, though, I do not remember. I'll look for some old notes or ask Rich the next time I see him. Sorry I can't (yet) be more helpful there.

How are you tuned (and strung) for this one Brian?

John

Brian, to me, one of the great things about this site is the chance to watch videos of what folks are doing and how they are doing it. You play very well, and your videos always remind me of where the next destination on my "dulci-quest" should be. I'll try and catch-up to ya one of these days lol. Great job as always by the way.
