description:
This late 19th-century tune is a cakewalk. These tunes were precursors to rag and have fascinating histories. This tune is also known by another name, but like the cakewalk itself, that name is from another time, so I am using the less offensive one here.

Modern Mountain Star Series Dulcimer, walnut body, mahogany top, redwood back sound board, and ebony fretboard and trim.

Hey, thanks all for your kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the tune.  Dusty, yes I guess I am strumming more here than in other tunes I post.  This one is just such a fun one to play. I Look forward to hearing your version. I know it will be excellent.  :)

Wonderful playing, Brian.  There is more strumming here than in most of your tunes.  You really make this tune pop.

This song has been on my "to learn" list for a while.  I have a much better feel for it after hearing your version.
