Hi Cindi! Thank you for your comments. I started playing somewhere in the mid 1990s and played until about 1999. Then, other things in my life (work, college, graduate school, work) precluded me from playing much, and I didn't start up again until around April or so of this year. I'm glad I did. I had forgotten how nice the dulcimer community is, and much I love the music and the instrument. Well, better late than never! :)

Very nice playing. I was getting tired just watching your left hand flying all over the place. Nicely done!

Hi guys! Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate them very much. John K, what is your ginger made of? John H, yes I agree- these little instruments can have quite a varied sound. Wayne and Val, thanks again. :)

Nice embellishments! VERY accurate for the period. You play well, my friend! Even though they are different woods, it's amazing how similar our Gingers sound. I'd keep an eye on that shirt since John Henry seems to like it...it may just "appear" on one of his future videos.
I am constantly amazed by the sounds that can come from a Ginger, when listened to with my eyes shut ( no, JohnK, the shirt is fine!) parts of your 'Concerto' reminded me very much of my son playing his harpsichord ! Thank you Brian

Thanks Randy! John K - that's right. I believe I knew that. :)
Exceptional playing Brian.
