Dana, congratulations on your newest acquisition. I can't wait to see and hear it when you got it all fixed up. I'm sure Warren May will do a fine job.
Beautiful, Dana. I've always loved the appearance of the Ledford models that had simple diamond-shaped soundholes. (The first Ledford I ever saw had them - the one given to the English folk singer Shirley Collins by Alan Lomax in the 50s.)
Wonderful! I'd be real interested in a rundown of every thing Mr. May does. I know that it will be quality work and that your Ledford will be a real treasure.

Good eye, Dana, you got yourself a treasure! It'll be neat to hear it sing!
Great find!!! Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing it when its all fixed up. Love those staple frets!
That's a really lovely instrument
If I ever had a Ledford then this one is exactly the style I would love - 3 string with staple frets. PERFECT!!!!!
Robin
Congrats on a great find there Dana, can't wait to hear it sing.
The forth staple goes all the way across to the bass string so you can tune it.
Great find!
