It sounds grim but it's not.I took a stubborn delight in surviving[just] in Vancouver by busking on the street and in the subway...the tunes after the ditty..over the hills to see granny,paddy's jig,the Tarbolton.
Thanks for the positive comments.Busking was a great way to keep my repertoire alive in Toronto and Vancouver in the absence of any cultural continuity with with those places.I must say the Irish diaspora,the downeasters,northerners,Newfoundlanders and prairie people were a big help and understood what I was doing.
