Too cool! What a lot of sound comes from that critter, even when unplugged.
Hello John. Thanks for the comment. It's always fun to hear what sound each instrument makes when finished. I absolutely love the scheitholt design because of the unique sound, and extra strings. It takes finger-picking to a new level, almost harp-like.
Very nice Jack! Your scheitholts have a very rich full throated sound with their eight strings. Definitely an instrument to be reckoned with!
Thank you, Strumelia! They are fun to make, and play. The extra drones provide an almost endless number of setup choices with the different string tunings and gauges.
Thanks Christine! It's my "Band in a Box". Just love your Dulciborn, and the way you make it rock!
I adore the full sound, Jack!
Thanks Linda. I think I need to keep one of these for me. Too hard to send them packing when they are so much fun to play.
Thanks for your comment John. It is mystical!
Jack, your scheitholt has an awesome resonance to it with or without plugging in. Well done!

Love it, Jack!
I've never played one before. Do you build them to sell? PM me with details if so, ok?
Dean
WOW, that sound awesome!!!
Thanks Irene! All dulcimers are fun to play, but this one will really keep you up late.
