Was just thinking about John here.
He knew how to succinctly explain complex dulcimer mode/key/diatonic/extra fret etc. subjects.

John will be missed here at FOTMD! His music, knowledge, and good humor truly made him a valued friend here.

To John's Family;
I will miss this wonderfully musical Friend, who took the time to teach me and brought me such joy through listening to him play his Mountain Dulcimer.
John touched my life with his joy of playing his Mountain Dulcimer.
He will have a special place with in my heart.
God Bless your family, you will be in my prayers.
