Thanks, Strumelia.  This rabbit just came out of a hat and so I painted him. I have to admit that like the Gingerbread Boy, I was surprised when he came to life by the aid of one of my daughters and did that cute dance and came up wanting a hug & kiss. It felt like we were in  a Tim Conway and Harvey Corman skit.

This shows how a song can be a true Delight, no matter how simple its melody or lyrics are.

Perfectly done John, and I just know you painted the pretty Mr. Rabbit himself. I love the color play in all your paintings.

So happy you got this recorded for us all to enjoy!

That's wonderful, John. So gentle and so fun!  I grew up listening to this tune on one of Pete Seeger's kids albums, and when my daughter was in pre-school and kindergarten, a couple of times a year I would cart some instruments into her classroom to entertain the kids.  This was one of the regular tunes I did.  I would sometimes ask them to help with the rhymes.

How refreshing and it is lovely to see you grin like that John.
