Thanks Robin and all others for your kind comments. I find these old hymns to be comforting and soothing, especially in these trying times. This Sunday I'll be doing another old favorite, "Jesus Saviour, Pilot Me." Your Fotmd friend, John
John, you know I'd love to read a bit sometime about how you got started with painting your watercolor pictures. They are so full of character and light, and you've obviously painted for a long time. Perhaps you could make a new thread in the Off Topic forum about it? I'd really love to hear that little story! 🎨
John, thank you for sharing this! A beautiful hymn - beautifully sung and played! And the story behind this wonderful hymn - I did not know. I believe God had a hand in the timing. Thank you again!
Thank you Gordon. I always appreciate your taking the time to listen and to give positive feed back. :You are truly what Friends of the Mt. Dulcimer is all about.
Sir, I enjoyed the song, good job.

Nicely sung and strummed, John.
My mom was a church pianist for many years and this was one of her favorite hymns.
Wonderful to hear this, so pure and heartfelt.
