This is going to be gorgeous! Can you imagine it with a ruby shellac to warm it up a bit? I can!

This is my newest build. I am lucky enough to work with Bill Taylor on his last instruments. He wants to pay me cash money, but I talked him into trading wood for work--he loves turning wood into folk art others can play with as much as I do!
I feel so fortunate. . .
This looks so good, Mark!
beautiful wood, good luck working with it
Thank you for the kind words! I love the look of white walnut, too. I've never worked with it, but it is being really well behaved so far!
I've been told by a lot of woodworkers that breathing that sawdust is really bad for you....so please take care in your sanding and all that.
I went down to GA to help a builder clean up his shop. He'd been exposed to so much wood dust that he has developed a lot of medical issues and cannot build anymore. I try to take a lot of precautions, for sure!
Big smiles to you!

I love the looks of Walnut....but I've been told by a lot of woodworkers that breathing that sawdust is really bad for you....so please take care in your sanding and all that.
