I recorded this when i was relatively new to dulcimer so that explains the mixed up time signatures and not being bothered by phrasing etc. I guess a fully developed brain is not always a good thing!
Nice playing Phil. That's a tune I tried to play recently based on the music notation in O'Sullivan's book on O'Carolan, but I could not get the "feel" of it. The A part has 9 measures and the B part 11, so the phrasing doesn't line up nice and neat the way my brain wants it to. You don't seem bothered by that at all and just keep things moving along. Nicely done!
Lovely.I especially like the fact that for a few moments you mix up the time signatures which is a big part of traditional music(sorry, amateur folklorist here)..sounds great.
Nice to hear this one again Phil, you have me thinking.
Thank you Davisjames and Dusty!

This is so very pretty, Phil!
That is beautiful Phil, very well played. An O'Carolan tune.
What a nice tune! Wonderfully played, Phil.
