1005 S. Pickaway St. Suite

Artist: Robin Thompson
Genre: Folk & Singer-Songwriter
Duration: 00:03:45

I played by an open window on this November evening. The address at which we got married provides the melody string fret numbers for the first section, the zip code where I was born and the zip code where Mark grew up provide the melody string fret numbers for the second section. Then, portions of a couple of our tunes-- tunes representing where we each grew up-- provide the next couple sections before I, finally end-up, kind of, where I started. :)

Dusty, try it!  Zip codes, old house number addresses, POBoxes, whatever.  :)

Thanks so much, Bob.  Though not a tune anyone but me would want to play, I'm glad folks have liked hearing it.  :)

Robin, love this sound.  It suits the instrument so well, and your style is unique, in a very good way.

Thank you, friends.

In year five of caregiving for my parents, I wanted to put together something on mountain dulcimer to honor my relationship with my favorite music partner, my beloved, Mark.
