Tune composed by Simeon B. Marsh, 1834. As soon as I turned on the recorder to play, a loud thunder clap sounded. I recorded indoors while a thunderstorm passed through. I finger picked the melody and used a noter on the melody string.

Helen, tech problems can be an annoyance!  I'm glad you enjoy the music-- I'm a fan of your music, my friend!

G'day Robin, tech probs fixed (mostly). I love how the this tune works with the thunderclaps. You are amazing, you can play like the gale or play like a soft sensitive breeze..such versatility...i love both and everything in between. Please keep posting 'em.

Lexie and Strumelia, thank you!  I recorded this earlier this year and forgot about it until coming across it recently.  I think of the words ". . . 'Til the storms of life are past. . . "

Wow.  So gorgeous.  And you know?- right this second as I'm listening, on December 14 2015 at 7pm...dark outside and thunder and rain here where I sit, a candle lit on my desk to be cozy....

Very beautiful Robin and I love hearing the thunder storm and rain along with your playing.

I believe Mother Nature adds to the songs beauty.

Thank you, Robin and Gordon!

Helen, after your tech problems are ironed-out, be sure to not have the volume too high-- the thunder clap is loud!
