@David-Bennett - thank you very much, David - I am so happy that you like the musical calendar - and what a lovely story you told and how cute it is that you keep this tradition alive which I also love so much. (I am so curious to see your wooden Advent calendar )
This is a grand project Ariane! Thank you for your hard work in putting all this together. "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" has always been a favorite and is a fitting introduction to the Advent season.
What a neat idea Ariane. I remember when I was kid living in Germany (early 1970s) every Christmas visiting the varias Christmas marts in the area and my mom getting my brother and I each a paper Advent calendar and behind each little door was a small piece of chocolate.
For our nearly 30 years of marriage I've started and continued that tradition for my wife. We have a large wooden Advent calendar with hinged doors and each year I put a piece of German (usually) chocolate behind each door for Karen.
Dear @john-henry's play is such a wonderful way to open the Advent season!
@Gordon-Hardy @John-C-Knopf - thank you very much - I am happy that you like the musical calendar...and Gordon thanks again for taking part.
