First run-through of an arrangement I just made of this tune (and yes, I realize it's a bit fast. I need to slow down a little, but as I wrote, it was my first run-through.) :)
O'Carolan was a legendary blind itinerant Irish harp player. Tradition has it that he played this tune on his deathbed. Instrument is a Modern Mountain Star dulcimer w/walnut body, mahogany top, redwood back sound board, and ebony fretboard and trim.

Beautiful playing, Brian. You mix precision with a true expressiveness. This tune has been on my "to-learn" list for some time. It's different than the other O'Carolyn tunes.
