A few months ago,casting about for a song to write I came up with what I thought was a lovely melody...memorable enough that I realized a few days later,"It's Tumbling Skies"

Lovely.  So many wonderful voicings can be had out of 1-5-5 tunings!

Inspiring!  I love the use of dissonance and 7th chords in your music.

thnx - 7th chords on the dulcimer can sound quite sweet - so I use them a lot

Thnx Davis - I was  big Pentangle Jansch/Renbourn fan- and still am - this style of composition might be more inspired by the classical playing of guitarist Andrew York though
