Hi Geoff, Thanks for your kind comments on my baritone piece. I don't have pics of the baritone up yet, it's an all walnut one by Doug Berch. I do like my namm centennial but the soundboard is very soft, seems like you only have to look at it to get a dent though dropping a microphone on it doesn't help.
Haven't made it to Launde yet, the end of October isn't great for me workwise and unfortunately I missed Mark Nelson too. Nick
Exploring your pics after hearing the lovely bari dulcimer piece. You've got one of those NAMM Anniversary Folkcraft dulcimers - just sold one to Ken Battersby in Cumbria. Pretty instrument - wasn't sure about the sound myself, but he loves it and you make it sing! Which is the bari?
By the way, are you ever able to come across to the Launde annual dulcimer weekend where all the great and good seem to turn up? Late October, see the Nonsuch site.
Did you meet up with Mark Nelson over the summer? He was meant to be tutoring at Launde this year, but couldn't schedule/afford it sadly....
nice its a beauty
