The guitar play is solid here yet I think the mountain dulcimer part can be improved somehow. It'll take some playing around for fun to find where to bring more nuance to the slides and when/where in the tune to strum.
Though we've seen no snowflakes this year here in our little corner of the Appalachian foothills, I'm sure we'll see some in the coming months. My mom referred to a dusting of snow as "a skift of snow" and my dad said "a skiff of snow". It seems both pronunciations are accepted usage. :)
Only in my dreams could I ever attempt to learn pedal steel, @davisjames ! Love to hear it in some styles of music-- last time I listened to good pedal steel recently was on a YouTube video from Margo Price & Tyler Childers.
I'd love to add pedal steel if I could play one.My imagination outruns my capabilities!Nevertheless it would sound great.I suppose it's the similarity between your use of the noter and the metal bar steel players use.
I played in and also arranged for many trad/folk bands in the past.Your music always gets my imagination going re arrangements.I like the fact that you keep things simple, let the music speak for itself, nevertheless I hear pedal steel on this. That'd be such a great blend.
@davisjames Quite a few leaves still on trees here and the hills haven't shown much spectacular Autumn color due to very dry weather conditions over the past several months. Indeed, snow is around the corner-- you'll see it in your neck of the woods before we'll see it here in our little corner of the Appalachian foothills.
Perfect timing! The last 2 days of rain in Niagara brought down many leaves (as always happens) and today was the first day asking,"fall jacket or winter coat?".Snow is just around the corner.

Hey, @davisjames Jamie, feel free to put some pedal steel to it!

@macaodha We have several inches of snow in the forecast-- how I wish it were just a skift of snow for which they are calling!
Thank you for listening! A music friend said he thought the beginning sounded like "Rosin the Beau" so now that's how I remember to begin the tune. :)
Beautiful again Robin. No snow here, or any sign of it.
@jim-dickens Thank you for listening and for the nice comment! Still no snow here in
O-H-I-O.
Fantastic! I really enjoyed that. Thank you for sharing
