Description:

We are looking forward to Springtime-- daffodils have poked through the ground and have had some snow cover, too. So, it's that time of year. :) The mountain dulcimer's wound bass is tuned to D and the doubled drones an octave higher; the melody string is tuned to A. Mark is playing a Larrivée 000-40 in standard tuning.

@davisjames Jamie, how kind of you!  If we ever make another cd, we'd do it just as we did some years ago-- we recorded tunes, paid a music friend of ours to master the tunes (primarily to set volume for consistency rom tune to tune), had the master duplicated by DiscMaker, and sent cds out to anyone who wanted one for no cost.  If we were to do another cd, likely, we'd re-record tunes since after we live with a tune for awhile we may have made some changes.

We appreciate your listening and your nice comments about our little tunes!  

P.S.- Our tunes are available for free downloads on SoundCloud and you could arrange the downloads in any order you'd like.

If you and Mark made a record album I'd definitely buy it.Save all of the jumping around on the cell phone and the computer...,just put it on the turntable,sit back and listen.I know I can download your music and create a Playlist...but then you'd never know how many times I play your stuff.In album days,you'd sometimes know how you communicated by the sales,radio play....All that said,I enjoy your music very much.

@davisjames We've got daffodils and other seasonal plants flowering-- we had snow on our daffodils early last week!  I hope you see plants breaking through soon. flower  Spring is my favorite season.  We always appreciate you listening to our little tunes!

Still waiting for the first shoots to come up...soon I hope..all the more glorious for the waiting,I like to think.Except for the west coast in Canada spring tends to be an explosion rather than a gradual process.Love this tune.

In our yard, lots of daffodils and some crocus have broken through the ground and it won't be long until something blooms.  Spring brings splashes of bright colors to enjoy.

Charming.  Much more joyful than most of your tunes.  I guess that's what daffodils can do for you.  A lot of trees have been blossoming here, including plum and cherry.  It certainly lifts the spirits to see some flowers on a sunny day.
