Wayne, Karen - thanks for your comments. Wayne, I also hope to make it Nutmeg this year. Will depend on workload. Karen, a duet with you on flute would be awesome. I look forward to it. :)

I should bring my flute along next time and we can play a duet. LOL Very pretty.
Thanks all. You're much too kind. As always, I'm happy you enjoyed the tune. Patty, I don't have a recording of me playing Stinson's #2, but I will put one together for you (eventually). :)
Give yourself some credit, Brian. That first part of the song is all hammer-ons and pull-offs, and keeping a steady volume and steady rhythm while doing that all that takes a fair amount of talent and practice.
Thanks again all. This is a very fun tune to play - Dusty it may look more difficult than it is; I really love it because it almost just rolls off the fingers. I'm glad you enjoyed it also. RN - I can't wait to hear some of the tunes you are transcribing. John Henry - I also wished we lived closer; it would be an honor to play with you. Folk - thanks! this is my favorite, and most mellow, dulcimer. Carrie {{{{hugs}}}}. :)
Cheryl, John - thank you both for your very kind comments. I'm glad you liked it. :)

That's a pretty song, but exceptional playing, Brian. The first part of the tune looks especially difficult for the left hand. Nice work!
Lovely. Such a sweet sound.
Wished that we lived a tad closer Brian, I could lay me 'ands on a lute that your tune would surely sound sweet on
thanks for posting
John
Love lute music on the dulcimer! You did a great job there Brian. I hope to transcribe some from guitar music I have really soon. Keep 'em coming!

If this isn't smooth, then I don't know what is! Outstanding job!
