Ken... and thank you! I'm curious...do you receive my IM's...or do you have me blocked? You didn't answer my question - what have you been up to lately with your music???
I love your sense of humor Dusty! I laughed out loud when reading your on/off button remark. But on the serious side, yes, I can see you with one of these. It has quite a few different genres including some decent Blues and Country grooves. It is set up that when you start a song, you get a very short intro leading into part 1, hold to fill, then transition to part two, and double tap for very short outro. I'm finding with a lot of the rhythms, I would prefer part 1 and 2 to be reversed. As I had read that this is possible, I pulled up the files from the SD card and oh brother, this is way out of my league! A computer programmer I am NOT! So for now, I will continue to work with it as is until I either have an epiphany or I find a child to show me how to do it. My money's on the latter.
Someone just suggested to me that I get a beat box to accompany some latin tunes I've been working on. But I have to admit that anything with an on/off button confuses me.
You crack me up Helen and thanks for that! Just what I needed after a tough day. The CD...I sure do appreciate you asking! As far as the reality, well, the expense is pretty much keeping me from that project right now. If/when things change, I promise that you will be first to get one.
Thanks Lexie! Hey, dulcimer toys are the very best ones! I appreciate that Benjamin! I wonder if I can count the foot work as physical exercise? Probably not, huh? Ha!
Very Cool Chris! My only toy is my dulci's, but I like seeing and hearing what you can do with your extra toys. Very nice song and good luck figuring out how to use your "beat buddy".
I’m sure all of you have seen the BeatBuddy ads on Facebook (or maybe they just targeted me knowing I’m the weak link? - ha!), Yes, I bought one and so far I really like it. I’m finding it to be a good songwriting tool. I haven’t figured out how to rearrange the parts and save it into a playlist just yet. That’s going to take some time and concentration - things I’d rather apply to playing with it! :-) This is a new original, “Conversation…”. Playing it on a Mountain Dulcimer, I think of it as an Appalachian Mambo. It was recorded on an iPad so you could get an idea of how the BeatBuddy works. It sounds much better in person.
Thank you Mary!
Terry? Your very generous compliment has overwhelmed me. I am humbled and speechless. From the bottom of my heart...thank you!!!
You are an artist Christine. Indeed you are.

Yer a grooving there, Chris! Nice going, gal, with all that electronic stuff. Tap dancing on the buttons. Go, Chris, Go.
I sure appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment David - thanks so much!
That was pure enjoyment Christine.
Awww...that's so nice! Thank you Marc!
Thank you Strumelia! Oh yes, I can see Helen doing exactly that!! You just gotta love a gal like that, eh?
Terrific job! You sound like an entire sound studio!
(I'm hearing Helen's brain gears grinding around trying to figure out how to get a "Beat Buddy" now, and how to use it with a digeridoo.... )

Good hand and foot work.
