Tuesday night Zoom group Christmas Video

musician/member name: Music
Duration: 00:06:37
description:
We are a group of dulcimer players who started meeting on Tuesday nights via Zoom in August, 2020. We're all still together and playing on Tuesday nights and this video shows we still play with noters in the traditional style. We thoroughly enjoy making our own music that the dulcimer allows us to play.

The video starts with Ann in Missouri playing Bring A Torch Jeannette Isabella

Then Ken in Pennsylvania with The Friendly Beasts

Stacy plays O Beautiful Star of Bethlehem

David in Alabama plays In The Bleak Midwinter

Dave in Tennessee plays Leise Rieselt Der Schnee

Nina in Kentucky plays her Away in A Manger medley

Thanks for watching.

Dulcimer tablature and mp3 files for learning many of these songs (and many others)can be found at the following url.

Lots of fun here. It warms the heart to see folks by their fireplaces and Christmas trees with dulcimers in their laps.  It's so great that you are all able to share music like this.

But, @david-bennett,  wasn't your back burning up?  You were so close to the fireplace! ROTFL

Here's a video Dave Holeton put together of those of us from the Tuesday night Zoom group. We each play a different song.  We are a group of dulcimer players who started meeting on Tuesday nights via Zoom in August, 2020.  We play with noters in the traditional style.  In this video the six of them each play a different Christmas song
