Strumming w/ credit card or membership card. 26 May 1973 Dennis Ahern married Lyrl Peterson. Bride made dress, groom's pants, shirt and vest. Groom made a pair of dulcimers on which a duet of "Simple Gifts" was played during the ceremony.

Museum of Appalachia
Saturday Karen and I spent a day with Dulcimore Dan discussing the finer points of noter drone playing at the Museum of Appalachia. Dan was a great host and teacher.
Me and Jake Hisaw
Jake was born in 1918. Karen and I pick him up from the assisted living facility to take to our dulcimer jams when we can. Jake said that when he was growing up he sang while chopping cotton or driving the plow with his mules.
