Hi Diane,I copied a fiddle part I found on YouTube for the arrangement I play. I use e,e,d,d, and play in the key of A. You could use E,A,d. The tune starts on the first fret e. In Part B the tune has a couple of the fastest noter runs I play and it took me an age to get them OK - you could easily shortcut the tune though, just like banjo players do Tongue.gif Robin

Ahh!!!I've found a recording of the tune that I made back in Febuary with a coupld of friends on mandolin and banjo. I can't upload here as this thread doesn't seem to have a file upload option. That's great Dusty - lovely playing. Your rhythm is spot on - you've got that tune bouncing along Grin.gif I know another tune with the name Cold Frosty Morning that's a lament from the Battle of Culloden and it is played with a Scottish feel - but I've also heard it played as a hornpipe! If I get a chance I'll record it and post it here.

Thanks so much, Robin. When things settle down a bit for the summer I'll probably get some of Mark Gilston's instructional books and try to learn more of his arrangements.
