An original tune (© 2020) I wrote shortly after a pre-Thanksgiving family trip to Lake Tahoe. One night it snowed several inches and I ventured out early morning to fetch some coffee and breakfast. I paused for a spell in the still morning air, admiring a pristine mountain lake surrounded by white-capped peaks with a fresh blanket of snow. I thought the view warranted a song, which I wrote upon our return home. I play it a little too fast here, so please listen slowly. :-)
Thanks for listening, @peter-tommerup. Glad to see you're still hopping along.
Thanks, @sam. I appreciate your taking the time to comment.
Pretty, soothing and if ya hadn't told me, I'da never knowed it was 'homemade'. Nice job playing on yet another beautiful instrument.
So cool, Dusty. We play exactly one tune in which we move between D and G so it's not a common thing. It's neat you were able to work out such a good piece of music doing so.
Thanks, Robin. The one thing I'm proud of with this composition is that the A part is in D but the B part is in G. I started that accidentally, just following a melody I invented, but then I had to use the old noggin to figure a way back.
Ya gotta know I like your tune, Dusty-- wonderfully composed and played!
