I play a traditional Irish polka on a dulcimer tuned DAd with capo at 1, putting me in Em. I learned this tune from a bowed psaltery version by FOTMD member Gregg Schneeman. The dulcimer was made of cherry and redwood by Terry McCafferty.
Thanks, @Jan-Potts. When I first arranged this tune, I did it without the capo, and that version required far more nimble fingers. When fumbling around a trying to play it, that proverbial lightbulb illuminated in my dim head, and I realized how much easier it would be with a capo.
Such nimble fingers! Love this!
Thanks for listening, Mr. @Sam.
Love the sound, look, style and wood of that dulcimer. Played very, very well.
Thanks, Cindy. It's a fun tune, for sure.
Well this was so much fun! And I love the Dulcimer!
thank you for sharing!
