Nice! You said a Breton tune...from Cape Breton, Canada?
Benjamin - I'm not absolutely sure about the history of the Breton tunes. I think some originated in Brittany but I'm sure some are played in Cape Breton also.
Thanks everyone. I heard Neal Hellman play this tune on line and loved the sound of it. Dusty here helped me find the tab that Neal had on his website so that I could learn it.
Great playing and tune Gail. I love the feel of it.
Thanks Helen. I just loved the sound of this the first time I heard it.

Oh that's really sweet Gail The Breton tunes have a link to Welsh tunes and so I've heard some played at traditional Welsh sessions around hear.
Nice tune, nice playing!
I don't use capos yet Gail. The tune has a kinda Turkish sound, exotic sounding. It is great.
I still read tab at face value and haven't figured out how to put my own twist on them.
Very fine playing Gail, you sound great.
I see you have a capo. which is on what fret? What does this mean you are tuned at?
Thanks, Lexie. The capo is on the 1st fret and I'm tuned DAd, so that puts me in the key of E minor.
