Will The Circle Be Unbroken

musician/member name: Entertainment
Duration: 00:04:25
description:
"Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" is a popular Christian hymn written in 1907 by Ada R. Habershon with music by Charles H. Gabriel. The song is often recorded unattributed and, because of its age, has lapsed into the public domain. The Carter Family changed most of the lyrics and made the hymn a popular country song. I much prefer the original hymn as it reminds me of loved ones who have gone on before. Usually on the first Sunday in November, our Lutheran Church celebrates "All Saints Sunday" when we celebrate the victory won for all of the faithful dead, but we grieve for our beloved dead as well. This Hymn is very fitting for "All Saints Sunday".
