A lovely hymn for a Sunday morning or any morning for that matter. Also known as "What A Fellowship". This hymn was written in 1887, words by Elisha A. Hoffman and music by Anthony J. Showalter.
Very well done, Gordon! Here's a bit of trivia...Robert Mitchum and Dorothy Gish sing a (sort of) duet of this song in the movie, "Night of the Hunter".
Thank you Steven, speaking of trivia, in the movie "Wild Bill" with Jeff Bridges and Ellen Barkin, this hymn was the background music at Wild Bill Hickock's funeral on Boot Hill in Deadwood in the Dakota Territory. An interesting side note is that Wild Bill died in 1876 and the hymn was written in 1887. However I did enjoy the movie, it was a good one!

So nice to hear from you again, Gordon! In my youth, we sang this hymn lots-- it's a great old gem!
