This hymn has always brought comfort to me, especially now in the situation the world is in with the covid-19 virus. The scriptural reference is Luke 24:29 (the road to Emmaus) They urged Him strongly, stay with us for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.
Gordon, this is one of my very favorite hymns-- it speaks to my heart. Thank you, for playing and singing this song.
Robin, I appreciate your sentiment and your kind comments, thank you and stay safe and healthy.
I agree, beautifully done, Gordon.,
Your dulcimer is simple awesome and you play it well.
Other than that, my friend, I am wishing you many many healthy days ahead.
ps: Years too.
Thanks Terry, It's grand to hear from you. Please stay safe and healthy as well!
