Tumbleweed: Thanks Guy for this video. Hubby bought me a bass guitar last October and an amp for it for Christmas. He plays by ear. I have had a little bit of music theory but this video was a great refresher for me. I will try to get Hubby to watch. He plays keyboard and I play back up to him. I have flung a few zingers at him like "what is the root note of your chord" He then asks me what is a root?.......etc. This video will figure it out for both of us. TW

I never knew what the vii chord was called, so "leading tone triad" is a new one to me! I hope you don't mind if I link to this video from the website I maintain for my local dulcimer group.
