Thanks Mark, Merry Christmas to you. This was one of the first songs I learned to play on dulcimer. It's a very simple song to play and I would encourage  beginners to try it. Most of the dulcimers I build are 26 " although I can manage it at 30" with small hands. I guess it's just from years of playing . I've always admired your playing. Happy New Year....Robert

Thanks Robert,  But I don't think anyone would consider this arrangement remotely easy.  Even in noter drone style, God Rest Ye is not a simple song, so either you had experience with other instruments, or you are very talented.

That's a nice arrangement, Mark. I play a version that's very similar but I use a capo at 1. I don't think I can stretch like you can.

Thanks Dusty,  The stretchiness comes from years of practice and "hand yoga" grin   On my left hand I can pretty much make a straight line with my thumb and pinky, and my left hand reach is a good inch wider than my right.

That being said, the stretches in this arrangement aren't nearly as bad as in some of my arrangements.  I don't think you'd have any trouble with them on a Ginger, or a 26" fret board.  Let me know if you want me to tab it for TAB OF THE WEEK.
