Mark Gilston plays an late 17th century English country dance tune on mountain dulcimer. Thanks to Strumelia for making me aware of this lovely tune.

Cool tune!
Well done Mark!
This is a real tricky tune to play, with all the octave leaping about. Sounds pretty on a recorder too. Definitely NOT a noter tune ! .
I tried to play it on the penny whistle for a while, and found it just too much for my beginner skills. I'll enjoy your version vicariously!
Yes it was quite a challenge to arrange as well as to play. I also had to accurately bend a string each time for that sharp 7 in the final cadence. You can't do that on just any dulcimer, so I had to pick a dulcimer with relatively light string pressure... Doug Berch to the rescue (: But it's a really fine tune, so thank you for pointing it out back when.
