That is good advice and it definitely shows. Your left hand technique while chording inside the 5th-7th fret area of the board makes the kind of moves that put a lot of stress on my hand look so easy and natural

Relaxing is actually the key to playing fast.  Precision comes with practice.  I spent a long time figuring out the best ergonomics for my playing style.
