We had an LP of Dowland madrigals when I was a child, and it was always one of my favorite recordings. This was the last cut, and definitely one of my favorite tunes from a very early age. The performers were Belgian, and the accents were heavy enough so I never understood the words until much later in life. I finally started to appreciate the lyrics and double entendres of the melodies in grad school.
