Do you use finger picking method exclusively?

I have been gravitating to almost all finger picking style, since picks slip out of my fingers

and I can play faster by finger picking.

Jim

Hey Jim... yes, I only use finger picking or finger strumming. You may have noticed that in this song I even use my first finger as a noter! Well, sometimes I move one finger down the frets, and other times I do random fingering to move down the frets, but you know what I mean. Every now and then I use a pick to strum... I make sure to use one that has grooves that help me keep the grip.

Thanks for stopping by!

A beautiful composition and performance Mary. You fingerpick so well and i never tire of hearing you sing.

Thank you Helen! I recently realized that the rhyming is off a bit in the beginning, but I think I'm going to leave it that way. Thanks about my fingerpicking - I've been trying to learn some more complicated pieces but it turns out they hurt the arthritis in my left hand, so glad you like it cuz I think I'm stuck with what I can already do! Thanks for stopping by.

Lovely.  You've done this a bit differently from when you originally performed it.

Hey,  Ben, you're right. These things tend to revise themselves over time! Thanks for stopping by.
