marg: Your W. May dulcimer is beautiful, how are you making out with the pegs?
Sorry! I just saw this! Promise I wasn't being rude! They are doing their job but I might, eventually, change over to plantery tuners or regular tuners. Though it would take a little away from the look! I play it every chance I get.
One of my dulcimers is a Warren May, beautiful with great sound. You really made a find. It would be interesting to know how a May dulcimer ended up in a pawn shop in Kansas.
I lucked out... I walked into a pawnshop and there it was! I saw it from across the room, knew instantly who made it. And it cost almost nothing, the pawn shop owner didn't even know what a dulcimer was. Case, picks, brochures and all... Not bragging, but feel blessed because we don't get many dulcimers in North Central Kansas!

You got it for cheap... Perhaps it would bring Christmas cheer to another? Just kidding.
Make beautiful music with it.
It is a 2006! I love the cherry wood, it has small patches of figuring here and there. And it rings clear as a bell!
What year is it. I love the rosewood tuners, classic May, as is the hourdrop shape.

A beauty! Warren's instruments sound wonderful!
