A fellow Tolkien lover! Thanks Charles! I intend to jump into the Silmarillion this fall to grab some themes for the tunes on the new scheitholt @jack-ferguson built for me. I already have the first one about 80% completed and its theme is the moment Aragorn first laid eyes on Arwen. It is a minor because he knew from that moment the tragedy of loving an immortal.

This tune, Flight To Minas Tirith along with the tune Of Stormy Seas and Tall Ships Sailing, launched me into the finals. This one is always a crowd pleaser. 

This is @jack-ferguson build. It's cedar with purpleheart and knothole soundholes tuned EADD. I LOVE playing this dulcimer because the VSL is a little shorter than I'm used to and it makes the technical stuff a blast to play!
