I must admit that Suo Gan was a new tune for me and I just realized some time later that it is a Welsh lullaby - next time we surely will record it much slower so that a child could easily find its sleep while hearing it... on the other hand it could be used as a happy wake up tune this way

I just listened to the tunes you posted on SoundCloud from that meeting. Wow! You all sounded great! Thanks for using my arrangement of Coleman's March. That was wonderful! Also, I never heard Suo Gam plays that fast. I used to have that song on a CD of lullabies that I played for my son when he was a baby. Of course, it was a lot slower on the CD. I'm not sure how fast it's supposed to be.

Yippee! Tomorrow I will be hosting the "1. Mountain Dulcimer Meeting" at my house - I am already very excited  😊

Compared to the meetings in the USA we will be a micro "dwarf" group of 4 musicians (but there are not many dulcimer players in Germany at all - there will be a 2nd meeting on 31 August with 2 further musicians though  😁 ).
