Please find my first recording with the mountain dulcimer :)
I chose "The Rowan Tree" in remembrance of our wonderful
Scottish concertina and uilleann pipes player Andrew - he introduced this tune to our band and I had the pleasure to accompany his playing the uilleann pipes with my soprano recorder only - what a duet combination - I loved this archaic sound.
So lovely Ariane...I listened to this looking at a card from Ireland one of my sacred harp singer friends just sent. Very beautiful playing indeed - I like your strumming style.
Hello Shanonmilan - I am happy that you like it - yes, I have a youtube channel - it is called Ariane Music

Nice do you run a youtube channel?
Hi Shanonmilan - thank you very much for listening to my very first dulcimer recording in 2018 - it was just the mountain dulcimer and me
In my former band I have played it on my soprano recorder together with our concertina player Andrew.
Best wishes over the pond,
Ariane
Do you play with a concertina as a background?
