Well, Terry - I must confess that you have me stumped. Please forgive my ignorance but what is "flute brain"? Should I be worried for Salt Springs or may I still revel in his wonderful sense of humor?
Flute Brain is attained after many years of extreme joy from playing the Native American Flute. I hope to attain Flute Brain one day too. Then one day, someone will say, "poor Terry, he's happy all the time."

Robin...when I was a kid I had the biggest darned crush on Desi Arnaz! I used to be so bummed when I watched "I Love Lucy" and the episode did not include a LONG scene with him and his band at the Tropicana. Geez, I had forgotten all about that until you just mentioned it! I have never made that connection before but just maybe he influenced my music from the very beginning. Wow! Thanks for the epiphany Robin!
Oh, Salt-Springs! I cannot stop laughing long enough to write you a proper response! Your comment is so extremely funny...and the image of you in a racy little skirt and a Banana Headdress - priceless!!! I do believe that your wife has her hands full with you - but in the best possible way! She's a lucky woman to have a guy with such a wonderful sense of humor. Thank you so much for starting my day with a hearty belly laugh (and also for your very generous compliment! )!!!
I love it........in fact I just turned it up full blast, put on a racy little skirt, Banana Headdress grabbed a set of maracas' and did the Conga with my hounds down the dirt road to the main Highway. I was having a great time until my wife said if I did not stop she would call the Sheriff and have me locked up, .... (she also said that I could not wear her skirts anymore....what's a guy to do?).....I told you your playing makes me crazy......all kidding aside you are one talented woman....... Brilliant.............
Thank you Benjamin! Yes, according to Wikipedia, Danzon is the official music genre and dance of Cuba - so you nailed it! Me? I had to look it up. Haha! I appreciate that, Ken! I sure hope to smooth out the ending footwork someday. It's that darned double hit - you can't do it in tempo because it won't trigger the outro fill and just keeps going and going. I do believe that more practice is required on my part.
Thank you so much everyone! I hope you're right about the chromatic part, Lexie. (How is your recovery coming along? Wishing you a very speedy one!) I would have loved to see you dance, Terry! I appreciate that John and Bill.
Hey, Chris, glad I dropped in here or I would have missed your groovy new piece and not known your custom dulciborn had arrived. Sounds really fine. See ya back on Facebook. Oh, I like the little bit of foot work towards the end.
Well my dulcimer friends - I guess I've crossed over to the dark side (maybe). This is my new custom dulciborne and it's chromatic! Yikes! This one is a baritone 5-string and the body is an 1-1/2" deeper then the standard dulciborne, which really beefs up the bass end and adds much to the sustain. I'm in the process of figuring out how to play it - I keep getting tripped up on the chromatic aspect. Practice, practice, practice, right? Oh yes, based on the first song that popped out on the day I received it, this new one came with a Cuban accent. Haha!
Aww...thanks Helen! I do it the exact same way you do it!
Thank you Helen...I love your work too!
Thank you for enlightening me Terry. That's great news! Now I want Flute Brain too!!!

Perhaps I'm getting there fast.

Is Desi Arnaz off-screen someplace? :)
Really cool, Christine!
Christine, don't you know about Salt Springs? He has long suffered from flute brain. Poor guy.

Congrats on the new Dulciborn, it is great sounding and you will get the chromatic part soon.
Wow, missed you glad to hear a new song, what a swinging song!
Oh, I enjoyed your song Christine. Made me want to get up and dance. So l wouldn't be lying, I did. Nice.
Great work, Chris! VERY enjoyable!
I was thinking this song is sort of Caribbean with its beat, tempo and the rhythm. Nice.
Definitely out of the ordinary, but great sound and nicely played.
Bill
