a traditional Viennese waltz taught to me by the late Roger Nicholson so that we could play it as duet - recorded here with string/upright bass and percussion by Andy Crowdy, and violin by sadly deceased Sharon Sullivan - the closing track off my latest album: A Waltz Through The Woods
Aside from the characteristic pause, the steps are mostly a combination of Polka Redowa and Mazurka . * These two names are used in an equal number of sources.
Beautiful!
It is a nice arrangement in waltz time, but it is a stretch to call it "a traditional Viennese waltz."

thanx to all for your kind comments @Dusty: @Davisjames: @Robin-Thompson:
What a charming rendition of this tune. So gentle and moving. (Much more elegant than "Put Your Little Foot"!)
I only know this as a 2 part melody. The 2 extra turns are a real treat.Your fiddler player had a lovely tone
What a lovely tune and arrangement for an ensemble!
'forgot to say ... this is the studio recording off the CD
