The 3 dulcimers with those center tie-downs remind me of 3 unfortunates tied to 3 trees, waiting to be sacrificed to a savage tribe's pagan gods! Just popped into my head...
I guess I've watched too many of them old black-and-white adventure movies.
Why didn't I think of that??!! .....A suggestion: perhaps a soft, padded strap attached to each leg, with a Velcro closure at the back instead of ties?
It's very light. The adjustable cross pieces are set randomly, but unscrewing then and adjusting them up of down will place them exactly to where the dulcimore needs them! One on these legs are set to the outline of the Neff piece.
That's fantastic! The only improvement I can think of would be to allow it to swivel, so you could play a gig with the tripod next to you and switch dulcimers without having to stand up.
I think that's a fantastic design, Dan. Looks sturdier, too, than most I've seen. :)

I think it's a fantastic innovation, Dan. And how wonderful that you can stand 3 dulcimers on it! :)
Will it fit most Virginia and Kentucky styles? About how heavy is it?
Most this stuff comes to me @ about 2 in the morning John! lol
That's my buddy Dan, and his fruitful brain, at work!
