Number 4 19 Wormy Poplar
All wormy poplar sound box on a 26 VSL "Betty". Walnut lolly pop tuners and string anchor, bone nut and bridge, hand rubbed oil finish. It rings like a bell! You may notice the top and bottom are booked and they also match each other.
Other instruments (East Tennessee Cittern)
This is a replicate of the late 19th century East Tennessee folk banjos.
Sevier County Tennessee Dulcimore
I fell in love with this piece the first time I saw it! A very strange piece in deed. Awkward but interesting? About 25 1/2 inch VSL, 3 and a quarter tall sound box, pine with a walnut fret board.
Number 7 19, all poplar Betty
All poplar with black staining. Walnut tuners and string anchor, bone nut and bridge, with hand rubbed oil finish.
