I'm going to post a link on our web site.
I didn't either until Lois educated me. All I did was turn it on in the editing section. It's not 100% but if you have the inclination I believe that you can go in and make corrections or upload your own captions. One thing I noticed is when multiple people are speaking at once it didn't CC anything, which I think is a good thing rather getting babel.
WOW, I didn't know CC did that!!!
I have the captions turned on. They aren't perfect but do give you the gist of it.
My hearing impaired daughter has made me a believer in Closed Captions. The video David made is indeed an excellent production. A great review for those of us there (even as we may cringe at shots of ourselves) & a "Readers Digest Condensed" version of the Gathering for those who missed it. I want to suggest turning on the CC even though it wasn't used at all times.
Lois, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I went in to YouTube it wasn't a matter of just turning CC on. It looked like I had to upload a CC file for it to link to. If anyone has any ideas of a simple way to turn CC on the video let me know.

It used live computerized captioning. It's worthwhile on those recorded talks. I say that even though it's subject to some of the goofs that non-human captions make. Water for wire and, when Bobby was talking about quills and said whether or not a feather had a turn, the caption said term. X-S for excess was another easily figured out substitution, but some others are confusing, making volume and the easy repetition of a video helpful.
Thank you, @David Bennett , for a mammoth job of editing to show the event.
Excellent production, David! This really gives people a great overview of the gathering. It looks like everyone had a fun time and appreciated the various classes/workshops. It looked there was lots of time to learn more about Berea, which is a real Kentucky gem. The music in the film was the perfect backdrop, too. Thanks for sharing this! (I also appreciated the group photo with everyone's name--very helpful! I think some of those folks came from pretty far away, didn't they?!)
David, terrific!!! Really gives a feel for being at the event.

Thanks for the memories! I'm still "riding high" over this event! It was quite the pleasure to meet everyone there!
Thank you for all you'ins hard work!
Gosh, David, that was great. I watched the whole thing and it brought back such good memories. Thank you to you and Karen for putting this together. Can't wait until next year. Nina
BTW, in the video I have listed the contest winner's name wrong, it was was won by Ann Brown not Ann Bowman.
The video looked great streaming on our 48 inch smart TV
Very nice, David. What a wonderful capture of this great event.
